How is the procedure carried out?

Injection is performed using a very fine normal or cannula-type needle, and anaesthetic cream or intraoral anaesthesia (in the case of lip augmentation) is applied beforehand to minimise unpleasant stinging effects.

How long does the effect last?

Results are maintained for up to 6-18 months, depending on the type of hyaluronic acid and each person's metabolism, but Dr. Racu recommends redoing the procedure before the acid wears off completely - to maintain consistent results.
